...and when those times come, I'm typically okay with that.

Just now (at work), I went to Taco Del Mar for some lunch (dinner?), and there was a guy there. He starts the generic pleasantries and I start staring off into the space, giving him generic answer. And while I'm doing that, I'm aware that his eyes are drifting to my boobs. I say 'my boobs' instead of 'my chest' because he wasn't looking at my chest, he was looking at my boobs: the shirt I'm wearing today is cut so low my nipples could peek out if I took too big of a breath. I don't normally wear this shirt to work, I was just out of everything else that went with these pants, and since these pants are the only pair I have that match these boots that are rain friendly and appropriate for work, and it is monsooning outside, it was this shirt.

We reach the check out line and he asks me if I work in the mall. I respond automatically, waiting for my him to take my card. Instead, he just pushes the tray towards me. I furrow my brow for a moment, reminding him, "Hey, uh," with a little wave of my card, "I haven't paid yet."

He smiles at me with a shrug, responding with what he must consider a very charming tone, "I know."

So, yay for free food that would normally top at seven bucks! Will be remembering his face for future en devours.
