I have a note book that's full of just song lyrics, lines from books and movies and shows, etc, and they're what I've been using as inspiration lately. I think this was a song lyric, but I'm not sure anymore XD I've been on the Rinoa Becomes Ultimecia side of that debate from the get go, so that's how that line is relevant to anyone's interest. Is Squall's ring of course. So excited for Dissida omg XD

Those braids are a replacement for her hair horns, hate those things so hard Jesus Christ. Not only are they kind of a pain, they're friggin boring. So I decided to make my life more difficult with those instead. Also: her hand. I'm sure there's some magical gradiant in PS that would've done that for me, but we're not speaking to one another, and I toiled for about an hour trying to make it look right in oC. Well worth it, I think XD Oh, and uhm. This had a background but. It looked like ass so I made it go away.

I think you did a nice job on line weighting the braids!! Braids are kind of hell for that, but these look good :3

You should experiment more with darker colors like this because it really does help the image ' pop '. It took me forever to figure out that blending really light colors only slightly visibly is definitely safer but doesn't make for as prominent looking an image. A mistake let you discover that years earlier than me! Lucky XD The graduating outfit is really gorgeous like this:heart: I think my favorite part of all of the colouring though has to be those lips! They look like they have Depth, and I love the style of lipstick you used. You are getting better with every picture, woman! Fantastic :heart:

When I first copied the image on accident, I deleted it, and man did the core image looked washed out in comparison. Is definitely something I will be playing with in the future. And the braids were just "uhm uhm OH GOD just follow the lines!!" XD

This is just so many kinds of awesome, girl. :heart: I'm very impressed! :3 The flow and weight of the lines looks very natural, and the pose is just so sexy. I find shoulders, particularly in portrait pieces like this, to be very troublesome, but you pulled it off quite well. The colors flow very well together too, and as Koko pointed out it's very nice to see you experimenting with darker colors in your shading. :3 Overall, the whole piece is just completely captivating. Her hair in particular gets me~~ It's so smooth and flowy and just gorgeous.

Your skills just keep leaping ahead with every submission, it's making me want to practice a little more seriously now. XD Really. You rock! :D And you know I can't critique this piece either, because I'll just gush and not really give any helpful advice.. :'D

Ahhh this is really, really good! I love the way it looks like the bottom was done in oils; the kind of muted, but still edged finish is totally pinging my old painting buttons hard. And I really love her expression. It's hard and just really pointed, like everything about her (including her C's haha!). I think you did a phenomenal job really capturing her essence here. xD
